Thur. April 7, 7pm - Talk by Carol Cox on “Starting a Backyard Garden from the Roots,” at the Willits Library. Manager of the Ecology Action Research Garden for nearly twenty years and co-author of “The Sustainable Vegetable Garden” with John Jeavons, Carol will discuss how to set up your gardening space, how roots grow, minimizing water use, and how to keep your small space productive with your own compost. Sponsored by Friends of the Willits Library (FOWL).
